[향의 구조와 느낌]

향수를 뿌리자마자 시더우드의 강렬한 향기가 치고 올라와요. 근데 자세히 보면 시더 우드 향기 안에 아주 작은 장미가 보여요. 사실 탑노트에 들어간 향기는 장미의 향기이지만, 시더우드의 향기가 거의 단일 노트처럼 시작부터 세게 치고 나오는 느낌이 있어요. 그래서 자세히 들여다보지 않으면 그냥 시작부터 끝까지 씨더우드 향 하나만 나는건가? 생각 할 수도 있을 것 같아요. 

아주 작은 달콤한 장미들이 사라지면 정말 슈퍼 시더의 이름처럼 강렬한 시더우드의 향기를 느낄 수 있어요. 저는 시더우드가 아주 고급스러우면서 차가운 느낌을 준다고 생각하거든요.  그래서 그런지 저는 시더우드 향기를 맡을 때 마다 회색 정장을 입고 깔끔한 무테 안경까지 쓴 남성의 이미지가 생각 나더라구요. 아무튼 슈퍼시더의 미들 노트에서는 말 그대로 강렬한 시더우드의 향기를 맡을 수 있어요.

잔향에서도 여전히 시더우드의 향기가 가장 강하게 느껴져요. 그리고 시간이 아주 한참 지난 후에는 베티버와 머스크의 향기도 느낄 수 있어요. 베티버도 나무 향료 중 많이 쓰이는 향료인데요. 촉촉한 땅의 느낌 같기도 하고, 나무 스럽기도 하고, 약간 초록초록한 느낌같은 향을 갖고 있는 향료에요. 이 베티버는 어디에서 자라느냐에 따라 향의 느낌이 조금씩 달라요. 슈퍼 시더에 들어간 베티버는 남미에 있는 아이티 산 베티버에요. 다른 산지에서 나는 베티버보다 상대적으로 깨끗하고 가벼운 향조를 가지고 있어요. 머스크와 베티버의 잔향은 시더우드를 조금 더 풍부하고 고급스럽게 만들어주며 향이 마무리 되네요. 

Right after spaying the perfume, there is strong cedarwood scent. You know what, I can smell the rose when I take a closer look. Actually, in the top note, there is rose scent. But cedarwood scent in this perfume is very intense. So it could make me think “Cedarwood is the only scent in this perfume?” When a little and sweet rose scent is gone, I can smell so extreme cedarwood like its name. I think cedarwood scent has very luxury and cool feeling. Maybe that’s why I imagine that the man in grey suit with glasses whenever I smell cedarwood. Anyway, I can smell literally cedarwood scent in the middle note. I wonder what the sillage is like. I can still feel powerful cedarwood in the last note. And then, I can smell vetiver and musk scent. Vetiver is one of the most popular woody fragrance. It’s like moist earth or tree. It has some greenish feelings too. The scent of Vetiver varies slightly depending on where it grows. The vetiver in the Super Cedar is from Haiti. Haitian vetiver is cleaner and lighter scent than other producing area’s one. The sillage with musk and vetiver makes cedarwood much richer and more luxurious.

[연상 이미지]

연상되는 이미지는 숲속에서 굉장히 잘 생긴 남자 배우가 화보 촬영을 하고 있는 것 같아요. 나무가 가득한 자연 속에서 있는 잘 생긴 남성, 너무 멋있지 않나요? 이 슈퍼 시더의 멋있고 섹시한 향기와 잘 어울리는 이미지 같아요. 

I think very handsome actor is shooting a pictorial. In the nature with so many trees, and good looking guy. What else do I need? I think the image is good with Super Cedar scent. It’s cool and hot.

 

[컬러]

연상되는 컬러는 애쉬 그레이 컬러에요. 나무 향기인데 왜 애쉬 그레이 색깔이지? 싶으실 수도 있어요. 시더우드가 갖는 차갑지만 세련된 느낌이 애쉬 그레이와 생각보다 잘 어울리거든요. 

The color what I think is Ash grey. You can ask “Why ash grey? It’s woody scent!” I think cedarwood’s cool and sophisticated feeling is so nice with Ash grey color.

 

[성별/연령]

사실 이 향수는 유니섹스 향수로 출시 된 향수에요. 그런데 제가 생각하기엔 이 향수는 여성보다는 남성에게 더 잘 어울리는 느낌이에요. 씨더우드가 갖는 절제되고 차가운 느낌이 여성보다는 남성을 더 연상 시키거든요. 물론, 여성분이 쓰셔도 좋은 향수죠. 저도 이 시더우드를 좋아하고, 자주 쓰니까요. 그런데 평소에 꽃향기나 과일향기처럼 사랑스럽고 달달한 향기를 주로 사용하시는 여성분들이 쓰기에는 다소 무겁거나 어색할 수 있을 것 같아요. 이 향수는 20대 후반부터 40대까지의 남성에게 가장 잘 어울리고 잘 맞는 것 같아요. 여성 사용자를 위한 연령대도 말씀 드린다면, 30대 여성에게 가장 잘 어울릴 것 같구요.  

This perfume is for men and women bothe. However, I think this fragrance is better for men than women. Refined and coldness feeling of cedarwood reminds men. Rather than women. Of course, it is great for women too. I also like this perfume and use usually. I mena, women who usually like lovely and sweet scent like flower or fruits, could feel this perfume as heavy or awkward. I think Super Cedar is the best for men in from late 20s to 40s. And for women in 30s.

 

[아웃핏/메이크업]

제가 계속 말씀 드렸죠. 시더우드는 뭔가 정장과 잘 어울리는 이미지에요. 정장의 색깔은 크게 상관 없을 것 같지만, 펑퍼짐한 타입의 정장 보다는 몸에 딱 맞는 정장이 더 잘 어울릴 것 같아요. 멋있어 보이는 착장이면 정말 이 슈퍼시더 향기의 매력을 극대화 시킬 수 있을거에요. 

I told you several times. Cedarwood scent bring up the image of suit. I don’t think the color of suit matters. Preferably, a perfect suit would look better than a loose one. Cool and hot outfits could maximize the scent attractiveness.

 

[연예인]

저는 이 향수를 뿌리자마자 BTS의 멤버 중 한 명인 진씨가 생각 났어요. 부드럽지만 결단력 있어 보이는 모습과 뭔가 이 슈퍼시더의 향기와 잘 어울리는 것 같더라구요. 단호하고 칼같이 정확할 것 같지만 부드러움이 느껴지는 이미지잖아요. 물론, BTS 팬분들이 보기엔 다를 수도 있겠지만 저는 진씨를 보면서 그런 매력을 느꼈거든요. 그래서 이 향기와 참 잘 어울리는 것 같아요. 

This perfume makes me come up “Jin” a member of BTS. I think his image is soft but decisive. So, this scent will be good on with his image. He looks like firm and accurate, but nice. Of course, the Army think differently. I feel that charm when I see him. Don’t you think so?

 

[음악]

생각난 음악은 BTS의 ‘Make it right’과 David Guetta의 ‘Titanium’ 입니다. Bts의 노래는 부드러운 목소리와 멜로디가 이 향수와 하모니를 이루는 것 처럼 잘 어울리고, sia가 부른 titanium은 sia의 힘있는 목소리가 시더우드, 나무의 향기와 참 잘 어울리는 것 같아요. 향수를 뿌릴 때 한 번 같이 들어주세요.

The music is ‘Make it right of BTS’ and ‘Titanium of David Guetta’. Tender voice and melody of BTS song is harmonized with the scent. And Titanium, sung by Sia. Her powerful voice is good on with woody scent. You should try them.

 

[총평]

자연의 향기 같으면서 정제되고 세련된 향기를 품은 슈퍼시더는 정말 여러 감정이 들게 하는 향수에요. 바이레도의 다른 유명한 향수들처럼 슈퍼시더가 더 유명해져서 더 많은 사람들이 알게 되고, 같은 향기로 다른 제품들도 나오면 좋겠다고 생각 하면서도 왠지 나만 알고 싶은, 더 유명해지지 않으면 좋겠다 라는 생각도 드는 향기에요. 그러면서도 나만 알고 나만 좋아해서 단종되면 어떡하지? 라는 생각까지하게 되는 향기입니다. 요즘처럼 비가 많이 오는 장마철에 뿌린다면 더 딥한 느낌이 나서 색다른 매력을 느낄 수도 있을 것 같구요. 가을, 겨울에 뿌린다면 정말 환상적일 것 같은 향수에요. 벌써부터 추워지는 날씨가 너무 기대되게 하는 향수입니다. 

Super Cedar such as nature scent, refined, and sophisticated bring up so many feelings. Like other popular perfumes in BYREDO, I want Super Cedar to be more popular and more people know. Also I want other products like body wash as the same scent. At the same time, I wanna be the only one knowing this perfume. By doing that, I think how do I do if this scent would be discontinued? If I wear this fragrance during rainy season like these days, I could feel different attractive. I think it will be awesome when the season is fall or winter. I look forward to the cold weather already.
