[향의 구조와 느낌]

처음 느껴지는 향기는 머스크의 향기예요. 향수를 많이 사용해보신 분들은 다들 아시겠지만, 보통 머스크는 잔향에서 느껴지는 향기인데, 왜 머스크가 벌써 나오지? 싶으실 거예요. 사실 모하비 고스트에서 처음 맡아지는 향기는 머스크처럼 느껴지지만 암브레트라는 식물의 씨앗에서 추출한 향기예요. 달콤한 꽃향기 같으면서 머스크와 비슷한 향기를 갖고 있는 암브레트 시드는 머스크의 대용으로 쓰이거나, 머스크와 함께 쓰이는 향료예요. 암브레트 시드의 달콤하면서 살짝 파우더리 하고, 꽃향기 같은 냄새가 시간이 지나고 나면 미들 노트에 있는 목련과 바이올렛의 꽃향기를 느낄 수 있어요. 약간 밀키 한 느낌도 있네요. 그리고 샌달우드의 살짝 기름지고 리치한 향기가 함께 나면서 꽃향기가 더 고급스럽네요. 보통 과일향과 밀키 한 향이 함께 느껴지면 저는 마이쮸가 생각났는데 꽃향기가 우유스러운 밀키 한 향기가 함께 나니까 굉장히 부드럽고 우아한 느낌을 느낄 수가 있어요. 잔향에는 씨더 우드, 머스크, 앰버가 들어가 있는데요. 첫 향기부터 이어지는 머스크와 앰버의 따뜻하고 포실포실한 느낌과 샌달우드에서 씨더 우드로 이어지는 우디 함이 향을 굉장히 따듯하고 포근한 느낌으로 마무리해주고 있어요. 씨더 우드는 샌달우드랑 반대로 약간 차갑고, 상대적으로 건조한 느낌이 드는 향기거든요. 그래서 이 씨더 우드의 향기가 머스크와 앰버가 너무 느끼하지 않게 밸런스를 아주 잘 잡아주는 것 같아요. 

First of all, I can smell Musk. People who use perfumes a lot know already, musk scent usually comes up at the sillage. Why musk scent comes up already??? Actually, the first smell of Mojave Ghost is ambrette seed smell. It feels like musk scent. Ambrette seed is like sweet flowers and has similar odor with musk. It is used as alternative of musk or with musk. After sweet, quite powdery and flowery scent of ambrette seed passed by, I can smell magnolia and violet flowers in the middle note. With some milky feelings. And then pretty oily and rich smell of sandalwood makes fragrance more luxurious. I think of some fruity caramels when I smell fruit and milky scent at the same time. But in this perfume, milky scent is with flower odor. It’s very soft and gorgeous. In the last note, there are cedarwood, musk and ambergris. The warm, fluffy feeling of musk and amergris from the first scent. And woody scent from sandalwood to cedarwood. Those scent make this scent end very warm and cozy way. Cedarwood is cold and dry scent unlike sandalwood. So, cedarwood smell keep balance not to feel too oily from musk and ambergris.

 

[연상 이미지]

연상되는 이미지는 촉촉하게 물을 준 화단 앞에 앉아서 꽃 모종을 심고 있는 이미지예요. 흙냄새와 식물의 냄새를 맡으며 예쁘게 화단을 가꾸고 있는 것 같아요. 적당히 시원한 바람도 불고, 너무 뜨겁지 않은 햇빛 아래서 행복함을 느끼면서 꽃을 심고 있는 것 같아요.

The image what I think is planting flowers at the flower garden. It feels like cultivating flower bed with smelling slil and plants. With some fresh wind and bright sunshine. I can feel happy with planting.

 

[컬러]

연상되는 컬러는 베이지색이에요. 음, 연상되는 색깔이 갈색일 수도 있다는 생각을 했는데 더 구체적으로 표현하면 진하지 않은 갈색에 우유 한 방울을 떨어트린 것 같은 색깔 같아요. 

The color what I think is Beige. Um, I thought it could be brown. More specifically, light brown color including a drop of milk.

 

[성별/연령]

유니섹스 향수라서 남녀 모두 사용하기 좋은 향수에요. 파우더리하고 밀키 한 향기가 여성스러운 이미지를 주기는 하지만, 이런 향기를 좋아하시는 남성분이라면 아주 소화를 잘하실 수 있을 것 같아요. 여성분들은 더 말할 것도 없고요. 잘 어울릴 것 같은 연령대는 30대 중후반이에요. 향이 올드한 게 아니라 모하비 고스트가 갖는 부드러움이 30대 중후반의 연령대와 참 잘 어울리는 것 같거든요. 

This perfume is for men and women both. Powdery and milky scent give womanly image though, the fragrance is good for men too if men would like thoes smell. Not to mention for women. I think it will be nice with people in middle and late 30s. Not a old smell. Just softness of this perfume is all right with the age of middle or late 30s.

 

[아웃핏/메이크업]

모하비 고스트의 많은 장점 중 한가지는 어디에나 잘 어울리는 향기라는 거예요. 부드럽고 은은한 향기를 갖고 있어서 격식을 차리고 잘 갖춰 입은 복장에도, 캐주얼하게 입은 복장에도 잘 어울려요. 저는 향기가 패션을 마무리한다고 생각하거든요. 포멀 하게 입은 복장에 뿌린다면 포멀 하지만 온화한 이미지를 주고, 캐주얼하게 입은 복장에 뿌린다면 더 편안한 이미지를 만들어 줄 거예요. 메이크업도 마찬가지예요. 옷과 잘 어울리는 메이크업이라면 어떤 메이크업이라도 크게 문제 되지 않을 거예요. 

One of strong points of this perfume is the smell going well with eveything. Soft and delicate fragrance is great for formal suit or casual clothings. I think the scent is the completion of fashion. If you’d wear formal suit, the scent shows formal and gentle image. And if you’d wear casual thing, this fragrance makes much easier image. The same goes for makeup. Any makeup that goes well with your clothes won’t be a big deal.

 

[연예인]

생각난 연예인은 가수 이승기씨와 할리우드 배우 ‘제시카 알바’ 두 분이에요. 두 분 모두 다양한 매력을 갖고 계신 분들이죠. 저는 이 두 분이 공통적으로 부드러운 이미지를 갖고 있다고 생각했거든요. 선한 눈망울이나 시원시원한 이목구비 덕분일 수도 있고요. 지금 얘기하면서도 두 분에게 모하비 고스트가 참 잘 어울리겠다 생각이 계속 드네요. 모하비 고스트의 향기가 더 부드럽게 표현될 것 같아요. 

I think the singer “Seung-ki Lee” and the actress “Jessica Alba” They have many charms. I think they have soft images in common. Maybe thanks to good eyes or clear features. I’m sure they will be great with this perfume. I keep thinking about it. Mojave Ghost is expressed more in soft way.

생각난 음악은 드라마 ‘남자친구’ 의 ost였던 에릭남의 ‘그 밤’입니다. 사랑이 점점 더 깊어져 가는 가사의 내용과 에릭남의 부드러운 목소리가 모하비 고스트의 부드러움을 잘 표현해 주는 것 같아요. 모하비 고스트를 뿌리신다면, 음악도 한 번 같이 들어주세요.

[총평]

바이레도의 스테디 셀러 중 하나인 ‘모하비 고스트’는 누가 뿌리더라도 포근하고 편안한 느낌을 주는 향수예요. 멀리서 보면 포실포실 털 뭉치 같은 느낌도 있지만, 가까이서 보면 화단에서 옹기종기 꽃들이 각자의 매력을 한껏 뽐내고 있는 향기예요. 특별히 계절을 타진 않을 향기일 수도 있지만, 날이 조금 차가워질 때 사용한다면 부드러운 향기가 더 크게 다가올 것 같아요. 

Mojave Ghost is one of BYREDO steady sellers. This fragrance gives cozy and comfortable feelings. From a distance, it’s like a ball of fur. But if I look closely, the flowers in garden show off their charms. It may not be particularly seasonal scent though, if I wear it when the weather gets a lillte cold, it will give a bigger soft scent.
